Privacy policy — Sizy

Sizy suggests product sizes to shoppers of stores on Zid, Salla and Shopify. This page explains what data we use and how we protect it.

Merchant data

When a merchant installs the app, the platform (Zid, Salla or Shopify) gives us access to read basic store data and products (names, images, sizes, stock) so we can show the button and suggest sizes. Platform access keys are stored securely and deleted when the app is uninstalled.

Shopper data

• We do not ask shoppers for a name, phone number or email.
• Height, weight and age (or shoe, ring or wrist size) are used to calculate the suggestion and are stored with a random session number that does not identify the person, for the merchant's statistics and to improve suggestions.
• These records are deleted automatically after 180 days.
• “Save my sizes” is optional. It gives the shopper a “Sizy code” to use in any store that runs Sizy. The sizes are stored encrypted with a key made from that code, and we do not store the code, so we cannot read the sizes without it. The shopper can delete them any time with “Delete my saved sizes”; unused codes are deleted after two years.
• After a shopper picks a size and adds it to the cart, we may ask on a later visit how it fitted (too small, perfect, too large). Answering is optional and is stored only with the random session number.
• No store can see another store's data. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.

Reading charts from images

When a merchant uploads a size-chart image, we send it to an AI provider only to read the numbers, and we do not keep the image afterwards.
